The United Arab Emirates has formally recognized AE Coin as an approved payment method for federal government fees, marking a historic first for the Middle East. This stablecoin, licensed by the UAE Central Bank, will be accessible through the AEC Wallet powered by Al Maryah Community Bank (Mbank).

The MOVE accelerates the UAE's vision for a fully digital government ecosystem. His Excellency Saeed Rashed Al Yateem framed the decision as strategic infrastructure development, bridging financial and digital systems through a dirham-backed cryptocurrency.

This authorization enables both individuals and businesses to settle government service payments using AE Coin, signaling unprecedented institutional crypto adoption. The integration reinforces Dubai's position as a global Web3 hub while demonstrating practical blockchain implementation at sovereign level.
